It’s That Time Of The Year, Folks! Merry Country Christmas!

Ho, ho, ho…Merry Christmas, folks! 

If you’re a fan of our show, then you know that at the end of every year we take a couple of weeks to celebrate Christmas in the Country.  Jim Ed whips up a batch of his famous home-made eggnog, I keep the fire burning bright….and we all gather together to listen to our favorite classic country stars sing all of our Christmas favorites…

We’re Heading Back To 1983!

Oh, what a year for Country Music! 

Friends, it’s that time again…we’re hopping in our trusty time-machine and setting the dial to 1983!  That was the year that both CMT and TNN debuted on the airwaves (within two days of each other)… 

Our friend, Little Jimmy Dickens, was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame that year…and a few future country stars were born, including Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood. 

Sadly, 1983 would also be the year that the world would suffer the passing of legendary guitar player, singer, and songwriter…
